It all started with a glass of wine and a plate of fresh pasta.
During a food event in Bristol, Paola from Pop Up Wine met Federico from Pasta Laboratory, and from the very first conversation, the connection was clear. They both shared the same Italian spirit, a love for authentic flavours, and the joy of bringing people together around a table.
Pasta and wine, it was an obvious match.
From that meeting, My Tasty Experience was born: a fun, mobile culinary project that brings the taste of Italy wherever you are.
Whether it’s in your home, your office, or a special venue, we create experiences that combine pasta-making, wine tasting and plenty of laughter.
We believe that food and wine are more than just flavours – they are stories, emotions, and moments to share.
Every Tasty Experience is unique: a celebration of craftsmanship, friendship, and the simple pleasure of cooking and tasting together.
Because when pasta meets wine… magic happens.
Federico’s journey began in London, where he and a fellow foodie friend — both originally from Italy — turned their shared passion for artisan produce into a dream career.
After years of perfecting their craft, they launched The H’eggs Company in 2018, bringing handmade pasta to local markets and quickly winning hearts (and taste buds!) with dishes like Crab, Lime & Mascarpone Tortelli.
By 2019, Federico moved the business to Bath, and after navigating the challenges of the pandemic, he decided to evolve the project. In 2021, The H’eggs Company became The Pasta Laboratory, a place where people could learn, cook and enjoy authentic Italian pasta-making experiences.
Today, from the Richmond Arms in Lansdown, The Pasta Laboratory continues to share the joy of pasta through hands-on workshops, private events and collaborations like We Tasty Experience, where pasta meets wine in the most delicious way possible.
Paola founded Pop Up Wine in 2018, when she decided to study with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), driven by her passion for wine and the stories that every glass can tell.
For her, wine is not simply a drink, it’s an experience that speaks of places, people, and culture; a way to bring joy and conviviality to the table.
Her curiosity and love for authentic products led her to discover and collaborate with small, family-run wineries that carefully manage the entire production process – from vineyard to bottle – avoiding pesticides and promoting sustainable practices. Paola believes in the value of organic and natural wines, which are good not only for the body but also for the environment.
Her passion for cooking completes this vision: every Pop Up Wine event is born from the desire to pair the right wine with the right dish, enhancing flavours and creating an unforgettable, multisensory experience.
Beyond leading tastings, Paola oversees every aspect of communication, from website development to brand strategy, and manages the full event organisation process, from sourcing unique venues to selecting high-quality ingredients.
Today, through My Tasty Experience, Paola continues to share her love for Italian food, wine, and togetherness, creating joyful moments where stories, flavours and people come together around the table.

Wine isn’t just something you drink
it’s a story you share, one glass at a time.

Pasta is simple, but never ordinary - it’s the joy of creating something by hand and sharing it with others.
